Today all of us had to bring in our costumes for some promotional photos and our dress rehearsal. Our aim today was also for our behaviour to be up to scratch so the dress rehearsal could go ahead. So after a successful photo shoot and group photos we settled back down. As our behaviour wasn't very good Miss Jones was questioning whether she could trust us with the excitement of it. Mrs Bowers decided if we were good at lunch we could go a head with the dress rehearsal. At lunch the majority of us were well behaved so we went ahead with it. It all went well with Mrs Russell popping it to see us. Now all the rehearsals are up and we need to perfect are performance in front of the infants

Today our main focus was to perform in front of Mrs Bowers Daughter and Mrs Hearth. Unfortunately Mrs Hearth had to stay at home with Jonathan because he was ill so we are only performing for Mrs Bowers Daughter. After the excitement of the last French lesson we settled down to our rehearsal. I think (and I am sure most people will) that it was our closest rehearsal to perfection. With the exception from a slight pause in the Consider Yourself dance we ran through with ease. Mrs Bowers daughter who is a teacher in Qatar said that our talents are the opposite to her old year 6 class as we are very talented in acting, dancing and singing!
A big thank you to Mrs. Bowers Daughter (Sarah) for giving up her time to visit and view our performance

Today we focused on the dancing and singing of Oliver! as yesterday it wasn't up to the standard that we need to be at. In the morning Mrs. Bowers new method of focusing on the singing worked and we dramatically improved our singigng whilst dancing.
In the afternoon we did a full run through with only acting. The people who didn't know their lines learnt them well and thterefore were able to act more. And a special well done to Emma Beaton, James Hoggett, Toby Bennet and Tegan Gould for being theard clearly all the way through the paractice.
Our focus now is to absolutley perfect our dancing, acting and singing skills for our performance infront of Mrs. Bowers daughter Sarah and Mrs Hearath.

Today we did a dance rehearsal for pick a pocket and oom pah pah. Both were of a high standard although the oom pah pah dance took a bit longer. We also did a full singing, dancing and acting run through. We needed to work on singing whilst doing the dance, and a few of us were slightly unsure of our lines but on the whole it was amazing.
I think today Timmy Olupitan put the most effort in today because although he has a minor role he displayed it to the best of his ability.
Many Regards, James
